GAMEFISHER 5HP need some help guys!!

Serial # oe145273. Dont know much about it i had it worked on and it ran and then the next day it wouldnt crank i took it back and the guy couldnt figure it out :S. I can crank it every now and then but it dies out very quick. I have no clue what the problem could be im very clueless about this thing. Im wanting to say gas leaks out of the front of the carb where it opens and closes when you choke it.

i took it apart opened up the carb and it was very dirty.. the motor had sat 5 years before i got it. im going to soak the carb in cleaner and then reassmble it and maybe thats my problem and suggestions?

well i just got it to run @ full throttle for about 20-25 seconds. It smoked really bad..come on guys i need some help on this thing!!

`okay the model number is 225.587506. I figured out its a '96 model which i believe was made by force.

you need to do a complete tune up from top to bottom.
get a manual or figure it out from sears part diagrams.

Iboats may sell parts for your engine model, I have had good luck with Iboats also you might even do well at a merc dealer.
