Gale 5D18B piston rings needed.

I have been searching for quite some time for a set of rings for my 1961 Gale 5hp. I cant even seem to find what the correct part number is. Anyone out there have some info that can help?

Be the same rings as a 5.5 Evinrude / Johnson I believe.---------In Canada----evinrudeparts.ca------

Yeah, thats what I thought but its pretty hard to be sure. It seems they have changed the part numbers over the years multiple times and even changed the piston design to use 2 rungs instead of 3 at some point.

What ring gap do you have ??-----Why do you feel it needs new rings ?

the piston was seized in the cylinder and the rings were so stuck they came off in pieces. The piston itself seems ok as does the cylinder.
