fuses on a 2004 Q4

I was wondering if anyone can help me. First, I am not even close to a mechnac so this might be a dumb question! I have an 04 Tahoe Q4 S&F with a 3.0 litre. I love it and had it "serviced" this spring. Unfortunately, the "mechanic" connected the positive wires for the accessory battery and not the negatives. As a result, no accoessories work and I noticed a blown fuse shortly after the red lead on the accessory battery. My question is, can I change this fuse and simply hook up the negative wires and hopefully everything is fine? Also, what size fuse would this be and are there more that could have blown? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look at the fuse for the rating. If the negative wires weren't hooked up it is impossible for the fuse to blow.

Thanks for the help. I would have checked the size of the fuse but I left the boat at the lake and was hoping it was a standard size and someobody might be able to tell me so I could just pick one up before going out to the lake. If it couldn't have blown like that any idea what could have happened? Everything worked when it was put away before the boat was stored.

Why buy just one fuse -- buy the little assortment for just a couple of bucks. You then have spares. Gauges by the way, should not be powered from the accessory battery unless some other rewiring has been done. You want the gauges powerd only when the key is in the RUN position. That can happen only if the gauges are powered through the engine harness which is fed from the starting battery.
