Didn't see a tether attached to a kill switch either. I thought it was bad when we put an 18 on a 10 foot tinny.

Looks like fun in the right circumstances, but I agree he needs a PFD (and skaters need helmets).

He could have the kill switch on a wrist lanyard.

He could be far enough away from the general public not to be a danger to others.

if he flips, the motor won't get him, but he'll need to dry it out (rebuild it if in salt); not much of a boat at risk.

Stunts and hotrods do that sort of stuff. people pay money to see it. people who do dare-devil stuff know why they do it. Aussies understand it; southerners understand it; other Americans used to understand it.

Don't be such a "you'll shoot your eye out" mama-type.

That is as long as he isn't dating your daughter, too!

Have to admire the man holding on to the bow who never spills his beer through the whole ordeal. Not too many Yankees could do that.

You have to give us Yankees a little more credit than that.

You're from PA?????????

Spend a little time with some Yoopers or some Badgers and you will have a true reckoning of how valuable beer is and what they will do to preserve or rescue it. I'm sure other Northerner's also have well versed skills.

We need some laws to stop people like that from getting near the water.
