Fuel tank vent location ?

If isolated my fuel tank as being the cause for my engine cutting off and suspect the furor cent may not be open. It’s 20 gallon(I think)1700 crest liner.

fuel vent will either be near your fill, or in the fill.

Unscrew the cap and look down into the hole. You'll see the tube where gas goes to the tank and adjacent to that is the vent.
