I stepped on my fuel tank elbow this morning and snapped off the anti-siphon valve. My question is: Do I apply plumbers tape to the new treads or will the NTP treads seal it up? Thanks as always!
Plumber's tape is not so good with fuel applications. There is another type of tape for fuel exposure. Permatex also makes a liquid thread sealer that can be used with fuel systems.
