Capacity of your fuel tank is only one piece of missing info. I assume you want to know the range of the boat as well.
Can you pull up a deck panel to expose the top of the tank? The size of the tank is usually stamped onto it. if not you could measure it and find the volume. Alternatively, if you can measure the height of the fuel in the tank, and then run it a known distance, you can approximate range.

Figure on 35G for fuel tank size. It will be something like that. I am assume that based on engine size, boat size and age. Newer boats and OB powered boats tend to have larger fuel tanks.

I was told years ago to take the horsepower of the motor, divide by 10 in gallons for an hour of WOT running.
Example: an 85 hp motor will use approximately 8.5 gallons an hour at WOT. I hope this helps.

the 3.0 liter motor is about 140hp at the flywheel (unless fuel injected)

its not that fuel efficient, burning about 0.41# of fuel per hp per hr in the mid range and about 0.45# of fuel per hp at WOT

so at WOT 140 x .45 = 63# of fuel. / 6.82 (#/gallon) is 9.23 gallons of fuel in an hour

Nothing says you must run WOT all the time. If you cut it back a tank will last much longer. The deep sea fishing rigs off Louisiana are known for crawling out to the fishing spot to conserve fuel.
