fuel tank capacity

I purchased a 1995 24' Suntracker Party barge and was wondering if someone knows the capacity of the fuel tank?

I was just thinking that. Just take WxLxH to calculate cubic feet and multiple by 7.5 and that will give you gallons.

I have always used W x L x H divided by 231

I cubic foot of water has 7.48 gallons....I use 7.5 for easier math in my head. If you are dividing by 231 than you are multiplying by inches and not feet. Either way works.

Look on the top of the tank, it is usually stamped on there somewhere.

That would work well if boat fuel gauges were accurate. They usually aren't ...

Run it dry (with spare on board) and then fill it up.

I have a 2000 Sun Tracker and the fuel tank is 26 gallons
