td-20 johnson 1946 Need to know what fuel ratio to use on this outbaord right now using 50:1 is this alright or should use something else?

Absolutely NOT!!<br /><br />24:1 minimum. You may actually want to try a little more oil if it's been sitting a while.<br /><br />50:1 only came about around 1964.

Mixture printed on my '47 Evinrude require 16:1.

I belive there's a bulletin changing all 16:1 mixtures to 24:1. However, I can't remember where I read that...
