I am not sure if stainless steel is a good fit in the carb body as it may grow into place and not be able to be removed later on.
and a needle seat ( what I think you are calling a jet) from a dealer is not expensive and is what was designed for it.

well if it gets through summer great. Gonna buy a new Regal in the fall but all advice is welcome. p.s. got new part on the way needle valve was cheep
