I have an Evinrude 1990 50 hp ve50belesr outboard. It ran fine last year. I started it up and it ran for awhile then stalled. It hasn't started since. I changed fuel, changed the fuel filter and checked the plugs. I has good spark but no gas. I have rebuilt both carb's. I am still not getting any fuel to the carb's. The existing fuel pump is a vro pump. I had problems with the vro and am not using it. I haven't used it for a few years. I currently mix my gas and oil. Is it possible to change the fuel pump from a vro to a normal pump? I can't afford a new vro pump. If the change is possible, will it cost much and is it difficult? I really need your help.
