I was bored today and thought i would rebuild the 2 fuel pumps.
That took all of an hour...
anyway, the lower pump had a plastic disc under the spring about the size of a dime or a little smaller. The upper pump had a metal disc just large enough for the spring to ride in.
I was wondering why the difference in size,It seems the larger disc pushing the diaphram would pump more fuel?
Has anyone ever noticed this before? One plastic, one metal..i'm confused.
Wish i would have snapped a picture..
