I'm restoring a bayliner 1966. I have been working to insure the mechanical is in good shape. Ist I rebuilt the carb, 2nd I replaced the fuel pump filter and then the fuel hose. Upon pulling the hose off the fuel pickup at the tank the barbed connection snapped right off. So I have replaced the fuel pickup. I'm glad it happened now then out there.
After I connected all the hoses I disconnected the fuel line to the carb. Cranked over the engine but no gas is pumping out of the fuel line.

Any suggestions ?

Re: Fuel problems

Would help to know what engine you are referring to. What hp and s/n?

Re: Fuel problems

Sounds like a MerCruiser Stern drive. You might post in the I/O section.
