I got 2012 bayliner 4.3l with carburator and electric fuel pump, it runs good on land, but last week went down to the lake idle at about 7000rpm fine but when I push the throttle into gear and start accelerating it bogs down and even shut off , if I pump the throttle back and forth it runs better and start catching speed, doesn't get to full speed and when I stop pumping the throttle, it looses power and die , unless I move it to neutral and idle or keep pumping the throttle..
carb was rebuilt last year(unless wasn't done right) , fuel is about a year old added stabilizer... I assume it could be bad gas, carb or pump, be nice to get an advise, don't wanna swap parts with no reason..
Thanks in advance for any help....

Welcome
Being a 2012 it should have a TKS carb, serial number would verify?

Is this first time the boats been used since last season?

Fuel pump should be working since you can pump the throttle and keep it running.
Pull the fuel filter off and dump contents into a clear container to see if there is anything but clean clear gas

Does the TKS module plunger extend out after about 15 minutes or so?

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,...... A rebuilt carb is only a rebuilt carb, til the very next time ya pump abuncha crud into it,.....

Like AD says, check the contents of the fuel filter 1st to see which direction to proceed,....

Filter is clean , no dirt at all, also when throttle moves forward I can see 2 nice streams of fuel which indicates good accelarator pump...

Thanks for the help.. it is first time this season and yes, it's TKS, not sure how to check it..
filter is clean and when I move throttle forward I can see 2 nice stream of fuel so as far as I know it means accelarator pump works good...
