Hi, this should be an easy one for many of you. I want to know what the correct fuel mixture is for a couple of motors. A mid-to-late 60s Johnson 5HP Seahorse and a 1979 15HP Evinrude. The mixture of 50:1 seems to keep coming back to me but I would swear that one of the mixtures was 20:1 or something similar. Could anyone definitively tell me what the correct mixtures would be? The Seahorse may be early 60s too, but I doubt the mixture changed during the decade.
Thanks in advance,
Jay

Re: Fuel mixture

Right the second time: '64 was the big year, but anyway -
The 5hp came out in '65 and discontinued after '68, so 50:1. That's if it's a 5hp and not a 5.5hp...
