Fuel leak

I notice a few drops of fuel underneath my fuel filter. As I looked around, I think it might be a small leak at fitting of the braided line shown in the photo. Have to do more investigating to confirm if this is the location of the leak.
Since this is a fuel line, I’ll buy the quicksilver part, if that’s what is recommended. It’s around $150 though, so wondering if there is a less expensive and still safe option I could use to replace this line.

Ayuh,..... What motor is this,..??

You might be able to cut the crimp collar off, 'n attach the hose with hose clamps, as it appears to be on the suction side,.....

The signature line mentions:
2003 Bryant 232 6.2 Mercruiser Bravo 1
Engine: 2003 Mercruiser 6.2L Serial 0M337356
Drive: Bravo 1 Serial 0M143019
https://www.mercruiserparts.com/bam/subassembly/31747/7585/70

Also try running the part numbers through EBay for maybe a better price.

Plus maybe try searching online, "Hydraulic hose repair shops near Me" to see if they can help.

The pic doesn't show hex nuts or maybe an optical illusion
Least its on the low pressure side, would make it easier to fix.

I would remove the line and check the sealing surfaces

Thanks all. The leak was coming from the fitting going into the fuel filter, So I was able to tighten that up, and their peers the leak has stopped, which is great. I’ll certainly keep an eye on it for awhile.
