Fuel issue

Merc 320hp 2010 EFI

The engine in my (new to me) boat was replaced just before I purchased it. I believe given the year it would have been a carberated engine. now it is efi and i noticed that there is not a return fuel line from the low pressure part of the system. Would this cause a back pressure and not allow much or any fuel to be pulled from the tank?

There is no need for a tank return line.

What is the problem you are trying to resolve.
