Fuel in oil, how many oil changes should I do?

I just finally figured out my carb issue and have found a bunch of fuel in my oil. It was up the dipstick about 2-3 inches. I have that oil/gas mix pumped out and fresh oil in it now. Just curious how many times should I pump and fill? And should I keep changing the oil filter each time?

If it were mine I'd change it until the fuel smell goes away

You can reuse the filter, or change it. Wondering if febreze in the filter would help with gassy smelly?

I never thought about Febreze. I just dumped a bottle down the dipstick hole. No more gas smell. Thank you!

I would not go crazy with several oil changes. The fuel will tend to "burn" off when the engine gets hot.

Fuel mixes readily with oil so one oil change should be good, I'm not certain about fabreeze.
