I have a 2006 Honda outboard 50 HP Serial BAZS 3601410.
Owned for 8 years and winterized my self with no problem
This year it again started up fine and runs and idles great.
Problem is it is releasing gas into the water.
Seems to be coming from exhaust.
Not a ton, but enough to smell and see the sheen on the water.
Any suggestions

In 2006 or so, Honda changed from a manual choke (with choke butterflies) to an electric automatic choke system that's a plumbers nightmare.

Which system does your motor have?

Does it release this gas only when cold, or is it doing it after it's been warmed up/run for a while?

Found the problem.
During winterization, you drain the fuel from the carbs with a screw valve.
I forgot to tighten one of the three,
