I have a 2003 cobia witha bad fuel gauge it shows about 80% full on the digital gauge but doesn't go up or down no matter what amount of fuels in it .
Any ideas on what could cause this or how much to fix

Did ya pull the sending unit and take a look? could be stuck. Pop it out, clean it, and move the lever up/down while watching the gauge.. does it go up/down? If not, it might just be a bad sending unit all together.
Check terminal's and connector's 1st before pulling unit. 9 out of ten times moisture and corrosion got to them. If so clean and coat. If not go to step two.
