MerCruiser 5.7L EFI - TBI; OL685881 MY 2000 or 2001

I currently have trouble with max rpm @ WOT and would like to clean (ultrasonic) and test the two fuel injectors. ( If checked already ignition, fuel pressure, compression etc.)

I looked already in the iboats Search, but didn’t’ find something which meet my engine.

Does anybody has the fuel rates for the injector 852956A1 ?
Also any information on cross reference part nr. (automotive etc.) would be grat.

Fuel System runs with 30 psi according service manual
Thanks

Thanks - I read in the forum, that the TJ17 have different flow rates (60 lb/hr) compared to the my Marine application ones. It also depend on the engine MY.
My assuption from what I read is about 65 - 68 lbs/ hr
I found out that Walker Product once offered the 500-2000 injectors for my engine type - but now obsolete.
There are so many fuel flow figures around in the forum, but I never found a good list with exact engine specification.
If I would have the data's could test mine.

These are Interchangeable Part Numbers I found in the I-Net for
1998-2001 5.7L EFI (Gen +) 350/ V-8
SERIAL NUMBER RANGE: 0L010035-0M299999

17104288
852956A1
3855182
3857398

If these are correct ???

The guy that would know is Smitty
The TBI is the same as used on GM trucks during that area

My thought on your lack of power may not be the injectors, could be other things like spark advance, lower compression, MAP sensor and even if the TPS is not moving fully to WOT.

Have you scanned the motor to see if there are any codes, or watched scanner to see if things are within spec?

Flow rates are mostly based on amount of pressure, and agree style

Yes, I have swapped and changed Spark Plug, cables, Hall sensor, Coil.
Idle 650 rpm, But poor acceleration and I’m missing approx. 600- 700 rpm.
But no back fire or anything. No mechanical noises. No faults in the ECU.

Timing is set using base timing mode, correct?

Put the timing light on and rev the motor and see how much advance your getting
