fuel filter part

I am trying , with no luck to find a fuel filter cartridge for my 2010 mercury 25 four stroke efi 3 cylinder. i have had no luck on my search. i ordered one from amazon which claimed it would fit inside the bowl, but it wasn't even close. the fuel filter part # is 8m0088825 or 898101t68.. the quicksilver one is wrong. the other is the one i removed. thanks for any help..

I'm not the expert but why not remove that filter from your motor and replace it with a straight hose then add a regular fuel filter to your fuel tank hose.
Wal-Mart sells a generic filter for $5 in their marine section.
I've used this filter on MANY tanks with great success.

May work with a carbed motor, but not with efi. The last thing you want are plugged fuel injectors.
