Hi.
Any Suzuki outboard owners here with the 11mm fuel connector? If so, could you check if the dimensions shown in my pic are the same as yours, please?
I am looking for the hose-end fuel connector (female) to suit an old Yam P165 outboard. I understand the P165 is essentially identical to the Mariner 8A which came after it. I have attached a photo of the male connector on the engine with dimensions, but I'm struggling to find the matching hose end fitting here in the UK.
Unless other makes also fit....
For example, the Quicksilver F197787Q3 is stated as being for 'Suzuki' and the Suk's engine fuel spigot looks identical to the Yam's and is also 11mm. Does it fit, tho'?
I've since found the original part number of the Yam hose connector - it's 644-24305-50. The good news is that they are still available from a few foreign sources, the bad news being they are typically asking between £65 and £100 for them plus postage...!
