Hello, I am new to this forum and boating in general. I just bought a 1990 sea nymph ss175 with a 70hp Johnson. I have been trying to google the specs on the boat to find out what the fuel tank capacity is but haven’t found anything. Does anyone know the answer to that question or where I could find the specs?

Thank you in advance

Should be a tag or plate on the top of the fuel tank by the sending unit with the capacity marked down . If not you need width , length and height of tank ,then math 101 . Keep in mind 10-15% of the tank is not usable , depending on height and location of pick up tube .

When I bought my Sylvan, I had the same question and found no answers. Pulled the inspection plate to access the fuel lines and found the tank tag. My in floor tank was 18 gallons, so find the tag on your tank, and nope, they never make it easy to find information.....

18 gallons seems to be pretty common, had 18 gallons in my 83 Lund Tyee

It could be more of a hassle, but it may get you a more accurate amount... You could siphon the fuel into a big trash can and siphon it back into a gallon container when you put it back in. This self priming juggler pump is pretty useful.
