For anyone who cares, we got the 3.0L engine running today and it ran up to 4000 rpm but isn't idling great. Tomorrow.. new points, plugs, condenser, distrib. cap and adjust the idle mixture. Ran out of time today.. but very promising. All the gauges work. Got oil pressure, good water temp., and no water or oil leaks so far.. Almost ready for the river.. knock on wood.. lol..
