I bought a pontoon boat with a Chrysler 75 hp many years ago and it was old then. When I had questions I would turn to I boats and one-of the members always willing to lend a hand was Frank Acampora. Well with his and many others help I kept that Chrysler going strong for over 15 years of memorable times.
Well the old Chrysler got hot and seized last Saturday. Never fear I had a replacement setting on a stand in my garage for the last 10 years. After rigging the new engine it wouldn’t start, no spark. I did a search on the Chrysler forum and guess who’s response came up. It said to clean and set the points and after I did that it started as soon as I hit the key.
Thanks to my old friend. I am not sure how many are around that remember Frank but he was the best.
