Four Winns 180 VP engine died after taking off

On third day of vacation taking off with tube behind and boat died and will not restart. Engine cranks over fine but no fule going in. it looks like the is a low oil alarm. oil level is ok cound it be a electrical issue. Cost me 500 to be towed in 17 miles back to the boat dock. Onn lake cumberland on vacation. please help

2001 four winns horizon 180. volvo 190 hp engine and stern drive
tubbing stopped to change riders. took off and it died or shut it self off a minute later.
Engine cranks over fine. oil on dip dticks looks good
will not fire and shows low oil pressure. Will i see oil pressure when i cranke it over?
