four Winns 170LE (2001) Question

Hello all... New Boat owner here with a question re my bimini top. The rail attachments are plastic and sit on top of a grooved plastic mount. They wont go down into the slot. (the slot kinda looks like two swells coming in toward each other with a larger hole where the pole looks like it should sit beneath the "swells" the top will not stay up after about 15 miles an hour, it flies right off the piece. any suggestions??? I checked and it is OEM part from Four Winns. one of my crew got bonked in the head this weekend ugh!

Get some pictures of the parts. It is likely that Four Winns simply used a TaylorMade or other brandname part in their production. It may be possible that you can change over to another design that works better or get replacement parts if yours are defective.
