Hello all...thank for everyones help so far. I have good compression in my 150hp Mariner and all 6 were within 5%. I did find that cyclinder 3 in not getting spark. I am assuming that I need to replace the coil? Would that cylinder not firing be enough to cause running issues and no power to plane? I only got up to about 15 mph. Or should I keep looking now into fuel. I live 1 1/2 hour from the lake and it is disapointing everytime I put in and have to go home ,,,,,LOL

Thanks,
Letreze

Probably not.

First off, swap the "bad" coil with a known good one. If the no spark bug moves, the coil is bad. If it stays in the same cylinder, the switchbox is bad.

This is where a DVA test of the ignition system would locate the bad part(s).

hope it helps
