Amen, brother! I thought I was the only one with that affliction. Though I am picky about my knives. Flashlights, not so much. 'Ya can't have too many of either

When I was a a boy, like most boys, I had a fascination with tools and was taking things apart from a very young age.

If a wrench came up missing my Dad would ask me if I was planting them to see if they would grow they usually turned up when I mowed the lawn:facepalm:

I took it one more step and learned how to make them.

Now that would be cool. Sad to say, I lack the patience for such pursuits. Or the craftsmanship, for that matter.....

Anything comes up missing at my house, the first place I look is in the "junk" drawer in the kitchen. That usually ends up being the last place I look.

Its amazing what you can find in that drawer!!!!
I clean it out every once in a while to see if its anything good is in there

HA!! found my other lost Kershaw knife this morning that I had bought to replace the one i lost in the couch! It was in a pair of clean work pants
SO I am up 3 knives now

Well I have been looking for my extra truck keys, you know those high dollar keys with the chip..... Well finally found them, had a bunch of just stuff stacked in an extra lane rocker that I have. Moved the stuff and walla, there the keys were. Also had my extra door keys and key to my truck camper. It's been maybe 5 or 6 years.
Also read the other day that "when you get over the hill, you probably pick up speed" WELL, I think that I am about running WIDE OPEN.

+1 on the tv remote, also always putting my keyes down and forgetting where I put them. Always happens to me when I am in the station. I put them down and of course that is when I get a call and have to spend time looking for the keys to the car before I can respond.
