This is what I heard on the radio when I woke up this morning.
A 52 year old Wilna man gets 4th DUI. 52 year old ????? ????? stumbled into the state police barracks Thursday demanding to see the DA about a prior parking ticket, the odor of alcohol was detected so he was given a sobriety test and failed. It also said his car was occupying two and a half parking spaces.
....HERES YER SIGN....

Kinda sounds like "OTIS" on Andy of Mayberry.

Seriously... It's so sad that some people have to resort to drugs and alchohol.

They need to create special state license plates and issue them to all DUI, DWI offenders when there license is restored. The plate would alert law enforcement and private citizens immediatly that a vehicle moving erratically has a impaired driver. Then when they get #2, they toast them.

In Minnesota they issue repeat offenders "Wiskey Plates" this is so they are more identifiable to law enforcment. The reason they call them wiskey plates is they start with "W" and must be on any vehicle owned by the offender by order of a judge. I am not exactly sure what the qualificatins to recieve one is but you do see them on occasion.

Ohio has special plates for repeat offenders, as well. They're yellow with red numbers. You can't miss them.

For convicted DUI/DWI boaters a solution would be a large hole in the hull of their boat, and no bilge pump.

Not sure exactly how it works here in Mich (happily) but repeat offenders lose their plate and get a restricted window sticker. Very obvious when someones done a few bads.

'zacly, SBN. Kind of makes me wonder who the real dummy is. The boozer, or the State?
