formula x2 (solves all ethanol caused problems?)

Anybody ever use this stuff looks to be good stuff but maybe just a crock any opinions?? supposed to solve all ethanol related problems.

only two things can solve ethanol issues, dont use it and AA.

I'm betting that the "miracle" ingredient is just IPA....isopropryl alcohol.

Additives can help but nothing can "cure" the problems of ethanol blend fuels. I tried to look for a MSDS on this product but I guess it is too new to find. I sure wouldn't pay their price without knowing what is in it.

Snake oil!---That should get the thread going again!

It might contain acetone since very high mixtures of water into acetone will still burn. This was a "Miracle" gasoline scam from the early days, making gas engines burn "water"

Acetone is an aggressive solvent though and in high doses will harm most engines.

No product can be sold unless the manufacturer provides an MSDS. The one for this product lists 2-Butoxyethanol (CAS# 111-76-2) as the major hazardous (per OSHA) ingredient. Since the physical properties differ slightly from "pure" material, I would guess that there are other non-hazardous proprietary ingredients in it as well.

Maybe a petroleum chemist reaing this thread will have some ideas as to its effectiveness.

They make false statements on their home page. That is usually an excellent sign that they are selling snake oil. Probably it's an alcohol as the main ingredient, but when they intentionally mislead you it could be anything including actual snake oil.

I knew ther was an MSDS, I just couldn't find it. Glad you did. It looks like it is just a solvent.
