My boat is a Fourwinns 170 freedom.
I have a inboard omc system, with a ford 2.3L 4 cylinder inline engine.
Prefarable i want a rebuilt engine, because theres problems with the cylinder block.
Or by a cylinder block.
But as i have read on this forum this engine was used only by omc and only for 4 years.
Anyone know were i can find a rebuilt engine or a new cylinder block ?
The second and most expencive option is to replace it with a mercruiser or volvo sterndrive.
Which is supposed to with with the current cut out in the boat.
Any tips for which model to go for ?
The ford engine has 136 hp, how much can the hull take ?
