I hope someone can help. I live in Melbourne , Australia and have a small half cabin boat with a Force 70 outboard. I need the serial number. The little sticker that should show the SN is easy to locate - unfortunately the SN has either faded, or washed off or whatever, but it is simply not there. It is not possible to determine whether the boat and motor came as a package - I'm probably the third or fourth owner of the boat/motor. Before you laugh, the motor is in good condition and the hull has been refurbished pretty thoroughly. I want to order a new impeller and an ignition switch. Any advice as to what my options are please? I've attached a couple of photos which may help.

Thank you so much for responding. Here are the images. Hope these are in a format that is visible without download. Again, please accept my gratitude for taking the time/effort. I have already used the part numbers to order the ignition switch - the bloke at the boat shop knew which one to order. Can you please let me know how I can use the foundry stamp in pursuing the S/number? All the best Lou S

The foundry stamp will get you the year and you can order parts from that.
The 2nd pic is probably a part # and not the foundry stamp.
Look on the block under the coils, pack and on the intake under the bottom carb, there should be a stamp there.
