force piston position in cylinder

just want to make sure, removed pistons in my 91 70hp force...got the #3 piston bored .020, the other 2 honed..
new piston and rings(.020), and new standard rings for the other 2
have new gaskets and inner seals...ready to put back together..
does the intake side of piston have the less surface space on the top of the piston?
the ridge on top of the piston curves toward intake..is that correct?

Yes, the curved baffle on the top of the piston should point towards the intake ports. Here's a picture of a 4 cylinder, but it's the same as your 3 cylinder.

Your head only fits one way.
The pistons are domed and will only fit one way in the head.
