Force alarm

Does anyone why an alarm sounds on a 1997 force outboard, boat operates normally ,alarm then turns off in about a minute.

Does it turn on as soon as you start the engine? can you be more specific?

If it is sounding at start up! My first thought would be it sounding for your oil injector.

Could also be your temperature warning. Motor over heating due to insufficient water flow.

If that horn is sounding, stop running the engine until you find out why. Most likely it is a damaged water pump and you are not getting any water in to cool the engine.
