You're good to go. Looks like there is a Helicoil insert in that very top left bolt hole.

ok so new impeller was the trick. Even though I put one in earlier when I first got her I must have burnt it out. She runs colder that ever before and the telltale works like a champ. See the pics below. I say anyone who has not added one to a force should defiantly do it!

Glad you were able to get it fixed, and thanks for sticking with it and letting everyone know the final outcome. Pretty nifty set up on your Tell Tale. I like the cap. Keeps bugs and other stuff out when you store it.

pnwboat - Yes it is to keep those dirt wasp out...they clog all sorts of things in FL. It sure shoots a lot of water out with a 1/4" line. I will run it on the lake today, make sure its not shooting to much out. If it does I will tap the barb I put in the plug on the head and put a HUGE main jet in it to restrict the flow. The tell tale for all those wondering is just the top to a nitro filler bottle for R/C cars and trucks. Local hobby shop will have those. Comes with the natural bend and in many colors!

jerry05 - On my block I guess it is....they were built right in as you can see. Not sure if this motor is original with the blocks and such. Like I said someone has done motor work and I actually think my carbs are not the same as the serial # I have. It looks like it may have had issues in the past and some one made her go.
