Reglued the magnet to the flywheel and I now have around 300VAC (no DVA) coming out of the two blue wires from the stator. So it should run again if all goes well. Nice when things kind of turn out. I say kind of because I haven't hooked it all back up yet. Going to let the epoxy cure a few days before I try to start. My gallon of epoxy is around 10 years old and definitely past its shelf life. Should have bought a new epoxy kit. Even a small syringe kit would have been enough no doubt.

Well the 1987 glue held for almost 40 years. So that's very good. I'm surprised we don't see this failure more often with these old engines. My flywheel is the Prestolite version. It didn't have a lot of glue on the magnet and flywheel. It does now. I double coated both before sticking together.

Well, hopefully you considered the clearance between the magnets and the coils as this is actually very little. Otherwise, the magnets could rub against the coils and end up with a catastrophic damage to the coils or magnet.

It's pretty tight clearance getting the flywheel on but once it's on, it clears and spins just fine.

I should run a small (say 0.010") feeler gauge or business card or similar around the edge in a rotation or two to see how tight it now is. It seems to be ok because it's not dragging.

Looks like you're on your way to finally getting this repaired.
