Force 35hp

Does anybody know how much it would cost to rebuild a 35hp Force engine. The engine I have has scoured cylinder walls and needs a total rebuild. I am thinking about scrapping the Force and putting a cheaper tiller motor on my boat. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

$1200-$2000+ depending where it is done.<br />If you can do it yourself, you are talking 2/3 that price. Hard for me to justify spending that much for that motor. The smaller the parts, the more you get for it.
