force 125 wiring diagram

i have a force 125, the problem is the prior owner micky moused the wiring at the ing key switch. i have figered out that the black wire goes to started solinoid, the yellow and red is part of the safty switch,the purple and the purple and white who knows. it seems to have all the proper wire4s in the terminal block but what wire goes were and for what please help it is hard to paddle the sound with a 17 footer thanks fran

It would help to list what year your engine is from - or if unknown perhaps the model number, which could be either a label on the trim bracket, or in the cowling. I'm looking at the starting/ignition circuit for '84 - '88 - don't see a purple/white combo wire. On the back of your ignition switch, each terminal probably has a letter, like M (magneto) C (choke) S (start), B (battery)

it is white with the siver decal. the terminal block on the motor has green for choke, orange for warning ground, black for start solinoid, purple to ac/dc block,two whites to i dont know. thios all started because the choke will not work i'm pretty good at wiring i just don't want to burn any thing up. thanks Fran

If you send me your e-mail address via PM, I will send you the three page troubleshooting guide from the original manual (1988) which shows the wiring and the various testing points, etc. for sorting out the relays.
