Can someone tell me where I can find bearings for a 1987 Force 125? Haven't had any luck other than finding complete rebuilds. Have torn it apart and feel comfortable putting it back together. Seals went out in saltwater.
Thanks

Re: Force 125 L/U Parts

Rocky--I'm curious. Where are you located?

Bearings are standard ones and can be purchased at any decent bearing supply store. Seals are also standard. Look up in the yellow pages or possibly on line. Both bearings and seals have ID numbers on them and the store can match them easily.

Don't be surprised at the cost though. The top drive shaft bearing is well over 45 bucks alone. And, it is probably a special order item not carried in normal stock. I would not be surprised if all bearings and new seals would cost over 200 bucks.

Thanks,

I am located near Newport News, VA. I thought NAPA or others could maybe match them up but I wasn't sure. Sites have found list them as no longer available but folks are still rebuilding them so... I was expecting much more than $200 so not surprised.
