Is there or where is the engine hoist point on a 1998 Force 120 hp. engine?

There will either be three tapped holes in the top of the flywheel into which you thread three bolts and a puller modified for hoisting OR the inside hole of the flywheel will be threaded to accept a Mercury hoisting tool.

I made an "L" bracket and secured it under the flywheel nut, hole in one leg just fits over flywheel stud , other hole large enough to get hoist hook through.

Your 98 Force has the Mercury flywheel.

This is what you need for a late model Force that uses the Mercury setup.
