Force 120 1990 Overheat Buzzer Test

I knew this once upon a time. Does anyone know which wires I would short together to test the overheat buzzer? Does the motor need to be running or can the key just be in the on position.<br /><br />thanks.

Key must be on. There should only be one wire hooked to the sender. Pull this wire ,and touch it to the motor frame. You should get buzzer.<br />The sender completes a path to ground when an overheated condition occurs.
