Some pics of my contraption and myself, you could make it stronger w less space between the uprights, mine is made of 2" sched 40 PVC. Most of it is slipfit, not glued.

What kind of boat do you have?

Here are a few pics of my PVC and 2 taps on my old aluminum Fisher Bass boat. When I sold the boat I gave away the PVC frame with it.

My current boat is lucky to be stored in a garage with a tarp over it.

The cover I used for the boat in the pictures shed snow just fine. I used PVC and a few pieces of wood.

Get the bow up high, LEAVE THE PLUG OUT!!! Be certain your motor is winterized and fogged. Don't forget to Stabil the fuel tank too.
