I have a tachometer that has 4,6,8 cylinder settings as well as 12 pole outboard. I have a Yamaha with a 6 pole output. Can I modify the input signal to read correctly with this gauge? Thanks!

Dang, that's all there is to it? I'm almost disappointed I don't have to go to Radio Shack for a transmorgifying diode with retro-wavelength capability. Thanks, Schematic!
