Fogging Oil Didn't Cause Stall Out

I am winterizing my boat for the first time, when spraying fogging oil into the carbs it caused the engine to sputter but it would not stall out.

After I went through a full can, I shut the motor off with the key.

Is this OK?

Thats not uncommon and the engine should be fine.

I agree, but if your still concerned I would remove the spark plugs and give each cylinder a little squirt to ensure the oil gets around the piston rings.
Also, you didn't mention if your motor was a 2 stroke or 4 stroke, I assume a 2 stroke? Fogging a 2 stroke is less critical because of the constant oil in the gas, some people don't even bother but at the very least I would still put some down the cylinders....Irv964
