foam under floor

Is the 4x8 sheets of insalation at lowes ok to put under the floor, it's 1 and 1/2 in deep. I would have to double the 3/4 inch sheets.

The pink or blue stuff is OK. Don't use the white styrofoam. It will absorb and hold water. It tends to crumble into beads that clog drainage paths and bilge pumps. I've also heard that it will break down when exposed to petroleum products in the event that the bilge gets contaminated with fuel or oil. - Grandad
