Can't say that I remember the year, but it was around that era that McCulloch introduced their 100:1 oil. I'm not endorsing that, but I wouldn't hesitate to using 50:1. Just my personal opinion, worth what you paid for it.

50-1 for that motor. The 100-1 was only with their oil, 40-1 otherwise.
