I have a 2004 9.9 Mercury stroke that I am using in salt water. I fin d removing the prop and using ears to flush it as hassle. I went to a small motor shop and bought a fitting that is supposed to replace a bolt on the bottem of the engine to which I can attach a hose. My motor is different than the motor I was shown at the shop, and now I'm not sure where the fitting goes. I'm in a pretty remote area in BC, so I can't just run back to the shop. Can anyone tell me where the fitting attaches on this motor?
Thanks,
Paul M
