Flush unit for 1961 Sea Horse

I am looking for a flush unit for a 1961 Johnson Sea Horse 40 hp outboard. The only units I can find are the ear muff variety which will not work since this motor's water intake is a rectangular opening above the prop. Can any reader direct me to a source for the proper flush unit? I would really like to avoid the trash pail full of water method if I can.

I don't think there is a solution better than a volume of water, Scooter. Trash cans and stock tanks work well. Outboards need a load and exhaust back pressure to give you true indications for testing and adjustment. Even for flushing they work well.
